The application process

1. Do you accept unsolicited applications?

Gladly. You can apply to us at any time by email (personal@pcelectric.at) or by mail. Please make a note there of the job you would like to do with us. In the cover letter, you can then formulate this in more detail and also explain your ideas about your field of work. The company language is German. Therefore, your language level of applicants should be at least B1.

2. When is the application complete?

Your application should include the following:

  • Letter of application
  • Current curriculum vitae (Please send as an attachment in the e-mail, max. file size: 10MB)
3. When is the best time for a (speculative) application?

If there is a vacancy, you should apply immediately. For a speculative application, ideally send us your application 2-4 months before your desired start date. We are usually very flexible with regard to the start date. PCE does not use fixed recruiting phases, but hires on a continuous basis.

4. Where can you apply?

5. What happens to the application after it has been sent?

You will receive a confirmation of receipt within 24 hours. We review your documents and coordinate with the contacts in the respective departments. As soon as we have made our decision, we will contact you for a telephone interview or a personal meeting.

6. When can you expect feedback?

Ideally, less than 2 weeks will pass between receipt of your application and the offer of a contract. From confirmation of receipt, it usually takes a maximum of 7 working days for us to contact you - for example, with an invitation to an interview. After the interview, you will usually receive feedback within a week.

7. What is the typical application process?

After reviewing your application, we may conduct a telephone interview before inviting you to a personal interview. Depending on the position to be filled, further interviews may follow. If you are shortlisted, we will invite you to a morning taster session so that you can get a more detailed picture of the department, the activities and your future colleagues. If we decide in your favor, we will finally send you the contract offer. By the way, PCE deliberately does not use an assessment center, as we prefer to get to know applicants through personal interviews.

8. Does PCE keep the application data confidential?

Of course. No one has access to your data or documents except for the recruiters and those responsible for the respective department.

9. Can I reapply to PCE after a rejection?

Yes. Just because we have chosen someone else for a particular position does not mean that you are unsuitable for our company. At a later date, you may very well be a perfect candidate for the position in question.

10. How to proceed if you want to cancel the application?

Please send us your cancellation in the form of a short message.

 

Your interview with us

1. What is the interview process?

One or two of our employees will conduct the interview with you. These are usually our personnel manager and someone from the same department who is one of your potential colleagues. After introducing yourself to each other, you will be given the opportunity to talk about yourself and explain your motivation for the job in a relaxed atmosphere.

2. How do I prepare for the interview?

Basically, for us it's about finding out your competencies and interests. In addition, show us why you want the respective position and what you attach great importance to in the cooperation.
